4. Mentions should be intentional and respectful. Meaning...
   If you mention another user—on this server or on a remote Mastodon server—be mindful of context. Avoid dragging people into uncomfortable or personal discussions.
5. Cross-server mentions and DMs are your choice but carry risk.
   Posts mentioning people on other servers, especially in personal or sensitive situations, may not be welcomed or could be misunderstood. Use caution.
6. No hate speech or abusive content.
   Anything designed to attack, harm, demean, or intimidate is forbidden.
7. No sexual content involving minors or anything illegal!!!
   This will lead to immediate removal and reporting and a ban from this and any other services hosted by the owners of this server!

    Do not post sensitive personal information about yourself or anyone else. If you do, you do so at your own risk. You have been warned!
11. Report concerns instead of escalating them.
    If something feels unsafe or uncomfortable, use the reporting tools. Admins will handle it with respect for privacy.
12. Your freedom ends where harm begins.
    Everyone is welcome to express themselves, but not at the cost of someone else’s safety or dignity.

    Jokes, memes, playful banter, and comedic storytelling are all part of the Tapped In vibe. Just keep it fun, not harmful.
17. Light moderation to keep the sanctuary safe.
    Moderation is hands-off most of the time. However, admins may step in or review posts if there's a safety concern, suspected harm, or repeated rule-breaking.
This keeps the community free and protected.
18. No malicious trolling or instigating drama.
    Being funny is great. Being intentionally disruptive or stirring conflict isn't.
19. Remember, debate is fine, disrespect is not.
    You can disagree with someone fully and still talk like a human being with a heartbeat and a spirit behind your words.
20. Everyone helps maintain the vibe, you know.
    This place grows through the energy of its people. Lift others up, bring good humor, and treat the space as a shared home. After all, isn't the saying home is where the heart is? Remember this.
21. Your timeline, your responsibility.
    Mute, block, or filter any topics or accounts you don’t want to engage with. Curate the space you stand in.
22. Apps you connect to your account — such as Mona, TweeseCake, Ivory, or any third-party service — can only access your profile with the permissions you approve.

You can review, remove, or re-authorize any app at any time from your Account Settings → Authorized Apps page.
If you no longer trust or use an app, remove it immediately.
23. Use Trusted Clients and Services
    Always use trusted Mastodon clients and services. Avoid unknown or suspicious apps asking for access to your account.
24. When in doubt, ask the community or an admin before granting access to an app.
    Use well-known clients such as Mona, TweeseCake, Ivory, Toot!, and other established apps to keep your account safe and secure.
25. Differences are expected and welcomed.
    People here come from different paths, experiences, and energies. Approach each interaction with openness rather than assumption.
26. Creative expression is celebrated.
    Music, poetry, spiritual reflections, tech talk, long-form posts, audio clips — all are encouraged. Please just tag NSFW or sensitive subjects where needed.
27. Accessibility matters.
    Provide image descriptions when possible. Use clear language. Support one another in making this space usable by everyone. If unsure how to do so, a service like Chat GPT can do it for you if you prompt it to.
28. Promote responsibly
    Sharing your work, your sites, or your projects is fine. Just don’t flood timelines or repeatedly push the same link.
29. Be mindful when discussing trauma or heavy material.
    Use content warnings for topics like violence, self-harm, or anything deeply distressing. Allow others control over their emotional experience.
30. Everyone has the right to disengage.
    If someone steps away from a conversation or sets boundaries, respect that choice immediately.
31. Admin decisions exist to protect the community.
    If moderation happens, it’s done with fairness and intention, not control. Admins may act without warning in severe cases of harm.
32. This server is a shared journey. What does that mean?
    Show up with honesty, humor, compassion, and accountability. If you contribute to the positive flow, the positive flow will carry you.
33. As stated before, Bots must be clearly identified.
    Any automated account, posting script, or integration from tappedin.fm or any connected domain should indicate in its bio that it is a bot or automation.
34. Bots must behave gently.
    Automated posts should follow a respectful rhythm — no rapid-fire posting, no timeline flooding, and no unsolicited DMs.
Rate limits should honor the vibe of a calm, human space.
35. Service messages must have purpose.
    If a bot posts updates (podcast releases, music drops, site updates, etc.), each post must provide real value to followers and not feel like noise.
36. Allowed: posting links to your projects.Transparency for official domains.
    Sharing links to podcasts, music, episodes, Mastodon groups, forums, or creative work is fully welcome.
Just avoid repeated or aggressive self-promotion.
37. No harmful or misleading links.
    Links leading to malware, deceptive pages, fake login sites, or illegal content are not allowed.
This includes disguised redirects.
38. Federated content responsibility.
    If you boost or share posts from other servers, ensure they follow the basic spirit of our rules. What you bring into the house still affects the house.
39. Bot-to-bot interactions must be benign.
    If two bots interact, it must be purposeful — no endless back-and-forth loops or accidental reply storms.
40. Service monitoring transparency.
    For safety, server admins may check logs or automated posts to ensure bots behave correctly and no harmful content is being distributed.
41. Automation should enhance the community — not replace it.
    Bots and services exist to support creativity, information-sharing, and accessibility. They should never overshadow genuine human energy.
