Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the md.tappedin.fm moderators.

1. Do not spam users. TappedIn is about creativity, collaboration, and expression. Be respectful of others, especially when discussing sensitive topics, feedback, or shared content.
2. Promote Creatively You’re encouraged to share your podcast episodes, music releases, streams, and projects — just don’t spam. One post per release/update is cool. Boost each other!
3. No uploads of copyrighted material unless you own or have permission to share it. If this is not being followed, your access to uploading content and media could be removed.
4. Don’t mass-download other people’s uploads without permission. Respect their work and their terms of sharing. Public links? Cool. Private content? Ask first.
5. Automation is welcome for: • WordPress blogs • Podcast drops • Music/video releases Please label your bot accounts clearly, and avoid over-posting.
6. No Hate, No Harassment Harassment, bigotry, or hate speech will get you removed. We build people up here — not tear them down.
7. This instance federates with the wider Fediverse — meaning your posts can be seen and replied to by folks from other servers. What you post publicly can spread. Keep your timelines clean, your DMs respectful, and your alt-text game strong. It helps every one enjoy the experiance.
8. Where possible, please include descriptional text, such as from photos and meems. You may use something like Chat GPT, or Be My Eyes, Seeing AI, and others to help you do so if you upload immages and are blind or visually impaired.
